Jon Bricks Leaves Fans Rapt

After nearly three years in China, international HipCo artist Jon Bricks has left fans fascinated by yet another performance, ending his two-day concert at Club Gossip and Royal Plus International.

The concert marks the return of Bricks to Liberia, having last year tour China.  

 Bricks amazed fans when he performed hit songs like “Off and On remix” and “Still HipCo”.  “This was the first time he ever performed these songs live in Liberia following his China tour,” his local manager said, adding that the reaction from fans was just what you would expect.

Jon Bricks Donates Food Items to Orphanage

As part of a post-Ebola recovery effort, international hipco artist Jon Bricks has made a donation of over US$500 worth of food items to Orphan Relief and Rescue, a local NGO for Francis Gaskin Rescue Home for Children, an orphanage center.

Bricks said that the donation is his way of identifying with orphans, sharing with them the blessings that he has acquired over the years.

Dream Debo Denies Rift in Platinum Entertainment

The CEO of Platinum Entertainment Mr. Dream Debo has denied recent posts on Facebook that linked him to a rift between him and his deputy, Sir Benjamin Franklin.

In a mobile interview with our reporter, Debo said, “The post is not true. It is a fabricated publication.

 He added that his working relationship with his deputy is fine and everything is on course, reiterating that such a post should not be given credence.

LIPO, Copyright Observe World Intellectual Property Day

The Liberia Industry Property (LIPO) in collaboration with the Liberia Copyright Office celebrated the World Intellectual Property day in Monrovia. 

 The event was held under the theme, ‘Stand up for IP protection in Liberia’ last Monday at Friends of Friends Haitai Association (FOFHA). It brought together nearly 100 participants from both public and private sectors.
