New Cosmetics Product Line, “Angel Lips,” Launched

Angel’s Lip’s is a fairly new company which started in May of 2013 and has now recently launched its Angel Lips cosmetics line over the month of June.  This  adds  significant value to a woman’s face and beauty. Liberia’s own Lisa Togba of Angel’s Lips Cosmetic line has officially  launched and begun distributions of Angel’s Lips. She sat down to tell us all about her new cosmetics line.

It is hard to believe that such stunning special effects (pictured) are entirely created from make-up. What makes it even more incredible is that it is all done by one of our very own.  Whether it's a fantasy or theatrical make-up, Caroline Dennis has the talent to elevate her craft of make-up design to a form of high art. But a skill that refined doesn't come without training and a lot of skill.

African Prints: Endless Fashion Possibilities

Recent years in Monrovia have seen a growing and very diversified preference for the use of African prints. This has now become the latest fashion trend in every part of Monrovia.

It is obvious that more and more African designers have emerged in Liberia, taking their works more seriously, thus attracting Western customers to the African style trends as they take on mainstream fashion in and around Liberia.

Williamses Celebrate 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. T. Nelson Williams, Jr., Managing Director of the Liberian Petroleum Refining Corporation (LPRC), his wife Soni, and siblings, recently held a reception in honor of their parents, Mr. T. Nelson Williams, Sr. and his wife Mrs. Ethel Williams, in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary. 

The program was attended by family members, friends and well wishers.

It was marked by a selection of songs and remarks from family members and friends.

Top Designer Chris Collins Represents Liberia at ECOWAS Fashion Week

The Economic Community Of West African States (ECOWAS) will debut its first fashion week this November.

The 4-day event is set up to boost textile, apparel and fashion design across ECOWAS countries and will create a platform for designers, manufacturers, sellers and buyers of African fabrics to liase and connect.
