MINNESOTA, USA, Former United States under Secretary for African Affairs, Herman J. Cohen said America wanted Charles Taylor, erstwhile leader of the disbanded armed rebel group, National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) to take power following the evacuation of President Samuel K. Doe.
