WHAT IS THE ABIDING SOURCE OF YOUR STRENGTH, WISDOM AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS? A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE (PART THREE)

By Rev. Fr. James B. Sellee
Published:  16 May, 2008

This article brings to a close our short series on the source or anchorage of one's life. Its thrust is on the advantages and benefits of having a secure and reliable Guide and Support for every situation and condition of life. For a reminder, the biblical text we are trying to unravel and dig out some lessons to enable us live better is: “Abide in me as I in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:1-5).
