GRAND BASSA COUNTY, Joseph Kpagbor, former General Commander of the erstwhile armed rebel group, National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) assigned in Grand Bassa, Rivercess and Sinoe Counties, has given what he called 'voluntary testimonies' to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Liberia.
BOMI COUNTY, Several witnesses in Bomi, one of the most contested counties by warring factions and former government troops during Liberia's 14-year brutal conflict, have been giving grief-stricken testimonies on the mass arrest, torture, disappearances and indiscriminate killing of hundreds of women, children and the elderly in the County.
GBARPOLU COUNTY -- They came, one after another, with determination and courage to formally unveil how they were rounded up, tortured, and raped en masse by ragtag armed rebels of the now disbanded warring factions and former government troops during Liberia's 14-year armed conflict.
