Determine Girls Confirmed 2021/22 League Champions
As champions of the Orange Women’s National league, they will represent Liberia at the 2021/22 CAF Women’s Champions League zonal (WAFU Zone A) qualifiers for a space in the main tournament.
Determine Girls are champions of the 2021/22 Orange Women’s National League with three games to spare after a 2-1 win against Soccer Ambassadors at the SKD Practice Pitch on Saturday.
Two goals from Marie Flomo and top scorer Bountou Sylla in the first half proved enough for the champions to retain their title.
Saturday’s goal from forwarding Sylla made it 43 goals from 15 league matches as she continued to run away with the golden boot award. Soccer Ambassadors got the consolation in the second half after several attempts to delay the champions’ title confirmation.
The back-to-back champions maintained their 11 points gap atop the table and can’t be caught mathematically by second-placed Ambassadors FC, who secured a 3-1 win against struggling Earth Angels.
They will also be looking to complete a double for the season when they face Ambassadors FC in the Final of the PetroTrade Cup on April 24.
