Mighty Barrolle needs one win to clinch championship

Barrolle, T-Wolves in Double Wins

The kanyan peppers boys of Mighty Barrolle have followed up their surprise win over LPRC-Oilers, beating the triple basketball champions, for the second time on Sunday 55-33 points.

Barrolle extended their lead in a rather vibrating battle to defeat Oilers in the ongoing finals, of the ‘best-out-of-five’ games.

The relatively convincing derby was described as “amazing” by scores of the Roller fans, including Oilers coach Paul Houlson.

Heats, Georgia Blazers in B’ball Action Today

Second division outfit Georgia Blazers and the Heats are expected to open the floor of the “Best-out-of-five grand final” in the ongoing Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) League.

Both sides will rub shoulders beginning at 3:30p.m in their first meet at the open-air Sports Commission if there is a promising weather.

In the second game, all-time female champions, K-Delta will host Timber Wolves at 5:00p.m and Mighty Barrolle faces LPRC Oilers in the first division category.

Barrolle in Grand Finals after Decade

The kanyan pepper boys of Mighty Barrolle have qualified to the first division’s grand finals in the ongoing Liberia Basketball Association (LBA) league.

The victory on Sunday night gave Barrolle a 3-2 series lead to crossover to the grand finals after a decade.

Earlier, Mighty Barrolle thumped Timber Wolves 58-56 points to redeem the score after having been defeated 54-49 points.

Oilers, Barrolle Rotate Scores

LPRC Oilers and Mighty Barrolle over the weekend leveled the marks in the ongoing ‘Best-out-of-three’ basketball matches, dubbed semi-finals at the Open-air Sports Commission on Broad Street.

The triple basketball champs LPRC-Oilers narrowly pinned NPA Pythons, 76-75 points on Friday to rotate the score, having suffered in the first derby 85-69 to Pythons.

On Saturday, Mighty Barrolle thumped Timber Wolves 58-56 points to redeem the score after being defeated 54-49 points.

Both Friday and Saturday’s games were described by spectators as pulsating victories.

Pythons Grab First Win

NPA Pythons grabbed their first win over triple champs LPRC-Oilers in the semi final ‘best-out-of-three’ on Sunday night in the ongoing 2014 LBA league at the Sports Commission on Broad Street.

Pythons finished off a dominant run game to take the lead 89-74 points that wrapped up the four quarters. The defeat marked the second heartbreaking game for Oilers in two weeks, losing to Mighty Barrolle 88-84 points.

Pythons newly recruited side guard, Samuel Kpanie, was the day’s MVP, shooting 36 points.
